On November 1st, the Federal Transit Administration issued a notice of funding for its Mobility for All Pilot Program. The new program seeks to improve mobility options through strategies to enhance mobility and access to community services for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and people with low incomes. The $3.5-million program will fund projects that enable transportation connections to jobs, education and health services. This funding opportunity seeks to improve mobility options through employing innovative coordination of transportation strategies and building partnerships to enhance mobility and access to vital community services for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and people of low income.
