LA County Transit Benefit Policy Page

AB 2548 (Friedman) would authorize LA County to implement a transit benefit ordinance similar to that of San Francisco, Washington DC, and New York City. Before the LA County approves such measure, the State must authorize it to do such. The legislation is making its way through the State Senate and Assembly, contact your State officials today.

Update 8-21-2018 – AB2548 passed the State legislature and was signed by the Governor, the LACMTA is now expected to take action to finalize an ordinance this fall. Check back for updates
